@Atheosile... That's not a better deal at all... That's only (2) decks of cards starting at $70 plus $15 shipping... Buy it now is $115 for (2) decks... The bundles give you both decks plus Pins, DVDs, T-Shirts, or whatever you want in the bundle you choose starting at $69 Delivered... A far better deal and it's going to be gone soon... If you don't have a White Fan / Black Fan in the collection, here's your chance to pick them up cheaper than anywhere...

In my case, I'm dollar cost averaging... I've already spent more on a number of White Fan Backs... So this brings the cost of the overall decks down for me... See I did learn something in finance...

I was unaware of that jmrock. In that case then I agree with you! I was under the impression it was just the 2 individual decks.

Playing Card Plethora / Re: Brown Wynn Cellophane?
« on: February 01, 2012, 02:52:30 AM »
I just bought my 4 Absolut Vodka decks and all four are the same..I did try researching and asking about it but I am sure Alex nailed it on the head...Old Ohio cello with different variables would and obviously sounds most logical...Yet, this had to end during or a bit after 2005 since AV decks were out of print at that point...I have no other Wynns than the Brown one in cello. I have a Purple but it was used and bought off eBay. I am now interested in checking the similarities of Brown Wynn vs Absolut cellophane...Wonder what comes up :)

Playing Card Plethora / Certain Cellophane
« on: January 30, 2012, 04:07:30 PM »
Hey guys, so I just received my 4 Absolut Vodka decks from Santiago Performs (Thank you by the way, left great feedback on eBay!). I as wondering, all four decks cellophane is very loose/fragile. I was wondering why this is? I assume it has something to do with the certain company who prints these along with other decks like this. I believe I have noticed this from other decks, but it usually are no cards which are "well known" if you will or rather cheaply packaged? Also, a few of you guys have AV decks, any similarities whith the cello? I don't view it as such a big deal rather than curiosity, thanks for the replies guys!

Playing Card Plethora / Re: How Many Uncut Sheets Do You Have?
« on: January 30, 2012, 03:14:44 AM »
I own v.6 uncut, Green Crown uncut, Red Crown v.2 uncut, 2 Chinatown uncuts (Which one will be for sale/trade) so all together I own 5. I do not collect them too much though, just sparingly...Like stated above, they take up room for sure...I have them all in the tubing but plan to get them framed eventually, once I find a place/room for them.

Wish I could help, although I have the same issue with my brown wynns...I know what you mean and actually the cellophane has come apart a bit on the bottom..kinda mad about that lol...I am interested to see what answers come up here :)

That whole "He who must not be named is not needed here, lol. But anyhow, my rare decks would be 2 -pre release monarchs, 4 Absolut Vodka, 4 Red Artifice, S&M v.1, IAOCP, Vision, Black Crown, and deciding whether I should buy some a couple LTD's or some S&M v.4....What do you guys think?

Do you guys think it is worth$35-$40 for a set? I believe I may pick these up soon. Yet, to spend that money for the set I would want to know a little history and possibly weigh out future benefits and see if these are worth it.

I agree Robert, but I would like some more info on this deck if available and to see if these are even worth it.

I just recently stumbled upon these cards and I hear they are rare and may possibly be worth a decent amount of money later on. "Heard they were only available or sold in Japan and the AoS "S2023" which suggests it is from 1973. I do not know much more about this deck and was wondering if anyone could shed some light on these cards for me and the community for people who do not know about them.
This thread sparked some interest for me:

I know they are not the Jerry's we all drool over, lol. I also knew they were not fake, yet I was unaware of the detailed info on this deck. I knew they were used in the casino's though because of the box and the cut edges. Thanks for the info Kanped! I will look more into this deck and post any further results!

I love the deck box and the back design and the brick box! But sadly it's a borderless back which I have no use for  :( Anyone thinks it will look better with a border?  :-X
I think they would look better with a boarder IMO

The Conversation Parlor / D&D's Final Release?
« on: January 07, 2012, 01:34:39 AM »
Hey guys, I figure that the California Blue and Arizona Red Plaid Playing Cards were the 2 releases by D&D. I assumed the third release to be the book we talked about in a previous thread. Does anyone know where, what or when the third release is? Sorry if I had missed it due to being hard headed, lol  :-\
