"Hi CBJ, I did some calling around and it seems like the Rugby cards are still in stock at some of the Rugby Ralph Lauren stores. Shipping will cost $10, but the Chicago, Dallas, New Jersey, and one of the NY stores still have some stock left (I didn't call every store though).

Also, the associates also said that they were grabbed up as holiday gifts, but there's a good chance they'll get more decks in stock as the holidays die down.

I ended up ordering mine from the DC store. The decks are a little over $5 dollars in the stores. I don't know if they will restock online.

Yup, all the Rugby stores can ship to anywhere in the US

I chose the DC store since it's the closest to me (I live in NC). The sales associates I've spoken to were all pretty helpful.

Just got a deck in the mail. I won it for 20 bucks on Ebay, and then the same deck went for over 40 a day later.. Just wondering if I should open it and enjoy the cards or hold onto it for awhile because it might go up in value?

We have a topic on these cards already.

I opened a deck of mine. They're cool. They have a vintage look, but not century-old-plus vintage like the Series 1800; more like from the 1920s or '30s.

If you want that kind of vintage look without actually opening that deck, then order the Vintage Plaid decks from D&D. They're not exactly the same, but they're roughly of similar vintage in terms of style.

I am arranging Shipito.com to pick up few of these for me (both the Black and Red version), since I am not in US and do not have a US credit card. Although Shipito.com would not apply the discount code for me, I think it is still a bargain for me.

Does anyone know if RL did release a Blue Skull version before the Black Skull please? Saw an image of Blue Skull from google search.

You can buy multiple packages in the US, have them shipped there and they consolidate them into a single package to ship to you. They even have a location in Oregon - there's no sales tax in that state.

There should be photos posted about decks. I vaguely remember this one. I don't remember what the backs look like though, I think they were one-way which is why I didn't end up buying them

Factor in an additional $4.49 for shipping - minimum cost for a single deck is $20.46. Still, I've seen them go for more. The black one was the first design, the second came some months later. The faces are pretty much the same for both decks, and yes, Alex, they both have one-way back designs, in addition to black-bordered backs and off-white bordered fronts.

When I have a few minutes this weekend I'll photograph both decks for your perusal.
