Does anyone have this?  I'm curious about the quality.  I worry the leather might peel off the metal frame.

  • Charm gets you quite far. Guile gets you the rest.
Also interested in the answer to DD's question, I have really liked the look of the leather wrapped porpers, but haven't been able to get my hands on one. I won't steal this out from under you Disco, but I am hoping someone has some insite into them.
Kickstarter completely revolutionized the way I waste money.

The people who handle playing cards are always in a world of delicate fingertip technology.

I have two leather-wrapped Porpers from David Blaine.  When done right and with high-quality leather, the leather doesn't peel off and continues to look nice (assuming you don't abuse it).  I've never heard a single complaint that I can recall from anyone buying a "major name brand" leather-wrapped deck clip and having trouble with the leather peeling off.

The only caveat is that they do tend to be rare and expensive.  But you are getting what you pay for - quality workmanship.
