Hello, and welcome to the Discourse!
While the story's pretty obscure, the deck is so zany and interesting that it works. Love the ace and courts, too!

The only suggestion I would have would be to mix the jokers up a bit they seem sort of out of place. Drawing a simplified lizard might suit the deck well. From the looks of the uncut sheet, it looks like the jokers are identical too. Have you considered adding a reveal to one?

Y'know, I have to check my collection, but I'm not sure that I even got his first deck that he funded, the Mirror deck - a double-facer trick deck where the faces on both sides of the card are the same.  Did anyone else have trouble with that?
