Hi there! I want submit my Evil Deck.
You can see all the cards here >> http://www.evildeck.com/cards.php
I will attach some images of the card back and the tuck box.

The Evil Deck is a bit different than regular decks, because it have an illustration on every card (I didn't want use the "classic" structure of the cards on purpose, I wanted to make a deck where every card could be interesting as a court card. Every suit represents a different kind of evil: hearts are for passion, clubs are for nature, diamonds are for violence and spades are for magic.

Hope you like it. Let me know if I submitted it correctly

Cheers

I like what I'm seeing so far.

Now, read the rules CAREFULLY in regards to making your final submission.  Because your deck has 100% unique faces, you'll need to submit art for ALL of those faces.  I recommend that you combine cards into a single image for the purpose of display - for example, groupings of perhaps four to eight cards each - and provide images of all the cards, plus a few individual cards at full resolution as specified.

This isn't the submission, yet.  I ask people to post here first so people can see your design and comment on them - after all, it's the members of this forum who will vote on the designs and choose a winner.  It also allows you time to make sure you have everything correct before making your official entry on the topic in the Playing Card Plethora board, which I'm about to go and more clearly mark for people to know where to post.

In other words, make your mistakes here, because you won't get to correct them there.

Did I mention the part about reading the rules carefully?  :))

One more thing - GOOD LUCK to you and the other entrants!

Hi Don,

I read the rules carefully, and I don't know if I can partecipate: I want launch my own crowdfunding campaign and want run this project on my own (keeping the full rights on it) , so I think I'm not eligible.
I have considered to partecipate the last days, because this is my first project and if I had win the contest, have hundred of decks without risk a penny had would be a big prize. But I'm crazy :)

Anyways, if it's okay for you and this don't break any rule, I may partecipate for the visibility and the glory! If this is okay, I'll make the post in the official thread as you said before

Thank you!

You should contact the Discourse Agent for Expert Playing Card Company for details regarding the rights on the winning deck.  In fact, it's not a bad idea to talk to EPCC about making your cards with them, win or lose!  Use this link if you want to send them a PM or contact me for an email address.

Hi Don, the funny thing is that I asked them a quote yesterday, and I'm considering to print my deck with them (they gave me a good quote).

If you can give me an email address it would be great (so I can attach them my previous email) Thanks!

I contacted EPCC, it seems there are no problems if I partecipate (If I may win they give me some free decks and a good price on the others I was going to order anyways).

I post the official submission here. If everything is be ok, I'll post in the official topic. Let me know!

This looks like you've got all your requirements covered!

Go ahead and post to the official topic unless you have any last minute changes in mind.  Once you post it there YOU CAN NOT CHANGE IT - don't go back to re-edit it.

I recommend that at the beginning of your first post in that topic, you write a few words to introduce yourself and talk about your design a bit.  Remember, you're trying to persuade the membership here to vote for your design.

Best of luck, Giovanni!

Your JoC, QoC, and KoC might be to near the cut border.  You might want to check with EPCC and ask how close you can get into no man's land...

I had check those elements, are at the limit but inside the safe area, but If I have to reduce them a little it's not a big problem. I will verify this with EPCC, thank you for the advice!

Sprouts, don't worry about it.  The contest is for a design - the overall concept and art, not the minutiae of what card gets cut where, especially since you're not even seeing an uncut (or cut!) sheet anywhere.  Those are adjustments that can be made later, should a design that wins require adjustments.

Evil Deck campaign on Socials.

Consider a slight alteration.

Put up a link for registration, then put up a link for voting - each should take you straight to the page needed.
