Kinda morbid but interesting at the same time. But the back of the cards could be changed i.m.o. And it could be interesting to know the tuck case.

It seems weird to me that the back is all clean but the fronts are distressed.

I agree. The back seems incongruous with the faces.

The court cards only have pips on one side but the number cards have them on both. Seems odd.

I also agree with the back design being out of place.

Also are the courts custom art or did they take those images from somewhere?

  • Pick a card, any card...no, not THAT card!

The creator uses the name "Third Moon Publishing", but their website is a single-page ad for the deck and a sign-up for a mailing list.  What have they "published" thus far?

Sometimes it's interesting and fun to see a new designer's first deck.  I don't think, at least for me, that this is one of those times.

Scott, I don't think the art is original.  It appears to be historical figures in commonly-found art from history books.

Looks like the art's just taken from historical portraits.  I found Washington pretty easily.

People sure do love making ol' George a zombie.

Oh another copy and paste scandal ala Persian Empire, lol. Rather pricey too, even if it includes shipping, especially for all you Americans. All the early birds are gone but that's it, not sure it's going to make it though there is over a month left.

I actually like the AoH. The rest has already been said, the back doesn't quite mash with the deck and the tuck..is a meh..

I wouldn't say its a pure copy and paste like P.E. At least he takes the images and does something to it..
