$10.95 a deck

These great new decks are produced by our friend, cardman George Hage. The Owl Eyes deck is one for which Conjuring Arts has an exclusive U.S. supply, with only 1000 decks available. These decks are printed on thick, flexible card stock and have perfectly cut edges; in short they will handle beautifully for a very long time.
Scoop them up in classic black, and don’t forget to be on the lookout for the upcoming blue and purple versions of this deck, too!

Awesome!  Looking forward to the blue and purple releases.  Too bad they weren't all released at once.  I would have liked to get a mixed brick (4 of each color) in one shot.

Pros- Nice custom Tuck, Back, Jokers, and AOS

Cons- Everything else
standard courts, and number cards
Who is printer? USPCC? EPCC? Somebody else?
www.nozero.net (printed on tuck) comes up with a page that says www.nozero.net, and 2 thick lines-that's it
$10.95 +$2.50 shipping for a semi-custom deck

I'm hoping CARC isn't taking cues from D&D.

Sorry- Pass for me- highly disappointed  :(
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

I agree. I would have bought it for the tuck and the back but not for $10.95.

Guys, they're worth it.  I was keeping it mum, but when Bill Kalush gave me the Smith No. 3 deck, he slipped me a pack of blue Owl Eyes as well.  Gorgeous art on the backs and made in the Taiwan plant of EPCC, if I'm not mistaken.

The faces are standard, but the deck does come with a unique Ace of Spades, a blank facer, a double backer, and one of the two "identical" jokers has a very subtle card reveal.  The handling is what you'd expect from an EPCC Taiwan deck.

If I had more cash on me, I'd be ordering them now.

I'm going to have to pass on these as well. I know that this is going to sound weird, but the back reminds me of Steampunk a LOT, and I am in no way a fan of Steampunk. That's just me though, and I can't really pinpoint why it pops out at me like that, but it does so enough to warant the pass from me.

Honestly, Victor, I can't recall.  I think they did, but I'm not certain.  Bear in mind as well, I got the BLUE deck, not the black one, so there may be a difference in the deck order much like David Blaine did with the Split Spades Lions (only the blue deck came in stack order).

I just received mine and I like 'em a lot. They come in Mnemonica stack. Nice, thick stock.

My cards stink.  Literally.  Right out of the box.  It's a putrid chemical smell.  Other than that, I really like them.

Not sure why they feel the need to make people pay shipping 3 times when they could have just released them all at once. Would have saved them some hassle also, instead of doing things 3 times. It's not like they didn't have them when they released the black deck.

Really?  Are you so certain?  Because while Bill Kalush owns Expert PCC and is the director of CARC, these decks AREN'T Bill's.  He made them through EPCC, to be sure, but for another person!  He's at the mercy of what that client wants to do when it comes to selling these decks and on what time table.  He was fortunate to get any to sell on his site at all!

Would you please think about these things before shooting off your mouth, Victor?  And READ the last PM I sent you.

First I wasn't shooting off my mouth, simply stating something that i'm sure most international customers would agree with.

And secondly you are right, I don't know what their arrange is, but i'm not sure that there is one either.

Yes, international shipping sucks. No if and or buys about it, but it's just one of those things that no one makes money on. Honestly, my suggestion, is to find a proxy in the USA to ship things so they hold it until it fills up a medium or large priority box to save on shipping. There are proxy companies or find a friend on the board.

It looks like the same shade of blue they used for the Legends, which is a lovely shade.

As one of my mates said to me

"shipping kills me to the uk maybe just a promise that all colours will eventually be in stock at once so nobody worried would be good next time"

I think this would be good, not sure if it's possible, but it would be good.

I could not agree more, the lack of customized pips and number cards just seems a bit lazy.
edit. also I just noticed the distinct absence of effort on the face cards too.

Got mine today - I will review them soon - you should be able to get all the colors (and cheaper/ and 15% of the money will be going to charity for the decks sold on that website) at no-zero.net but George hasn't got the website up and going.

http://i957.photobucket.com/albums/ae51/mojo_turbo/20140515_150216_zpsqkhqjuj2.jpg

I asked George if they were CARC/Legends and he said

Quote
More likely the same as legends. Probably best just to say they were made in Taiwan without going into detail if you want to mention where they were made!

They don't smell like Legends...

EDIT: I take that back, just opened my NOC3s they DO kinda smell like LEGENDS

Hey looks like http://www.no-zero.net/ is live - you can order all 3 colors now - plus they are a $1 cheaper than CARC

I don't know what the no-zero.net thing is but we definitely have a U.S. exclusive.
We can completely understand that shipping 3 orders instead of 1 sucks, especially internationally. To offset that we will offer to hold your Owls until we release the last deck. It's not optimal but the only thing we can think of to save that money for our customers. Just email us and we will do it. We will figure out a better way to not drip out the color versions in the future but we really don't like flooding the market with too many decks all at once. There are already so many decks from all directions that we don't want to add to the torrent.
To clarify a point, these were NOT made by EPCC but by a friend of ours and we bought them so thus the higher price. When EPCC makes a deck for Conjuring Arts to release we try to keep the retail as low as possible. Our real goal is to have people use these cards. We love collectors but we also love magicians and want the cards appreciated.
One other point that we don't mention often. 100% of our profits at EPCC and Conjuring Arts go to charity. Conjuring Arts is a 501(c)3 using all of it's money to help others through our cultural and outreach work. That doesn't mean that we are perfect, nor better than any other company, nor that you must love us or buy our cards but it does mean we are trying our best to be good citizens of the world!

EXACTLY the same experience for me. If the site wasnot supposed to be fully up and running, then no problem... but to refund WITHOUT ANY EXPLANATION, is pretty crap.
With this signature I'm following the example set by Fes: There is only ONE letter L in my display name. "Holly" is a female name... and I'm a bearded guy who's into weightlifting. There's nothing feminine about me brother!
