Well, that settles it then. That's how I will finish out the Rusted Tin deck. Thanks for your help, Don.

I love what you did with the Rusted Tin deck, and everything you've done so far looks phenomenal!  I look forward to seeing this back on Kickstarter, I think it'll be a success this time around.  :D

Well, I hope you send me some when the deck gets made!  I usually charge for such advice!  :))

Assuming the decks get made this time, I'm absolutely planning on sending you at least one of each. Probably two of each, so you can open one and store one.

The wanted poster deck is at the printer, and in a couple weeks I will have 24 demo decks. I ordered these decks because I have seen the quality of Liberty Playing Cards, and they are damned difficult to tell from a Bicycle deck. The only difference I have seen is that Liberty uses a slightly stiffer paper stock. The finish is, to my untrained fingers, identical to air cushion.

So anyway, I am buying demo decks in order to send them to people that card people trust. I am hoping to find ten to twelve people to whom I can send decks, so that those people can do reviews or just talk about the cards and people listen. I have a few people in mind, but could use some suggestions.

So if you were filling in the blank in this statement:

"If [blank] likes these cards, then I guess I will give them a shot."

Who would fill your blank?

I'm happy to give them a try.

Your project has really taken a turn for the BETTER.  The latest designs are really well executed.

My only critique is with the number 10. The little hook on the "1" seems out of place. I think it would look better without the hook at top and would be more readable.

Y'know, Troy - I agree with you on that.  The ten would look better without serif marks on the "1", I think.

Interesting observation. I'll try it without the serif on the 1. However, that's a change that will have to be made later, because I just picked up the demo decks. I'll be sending them out this weekend.

Fair enough!  Looking forward to it.

By the way, do you know about the big deck design contest we're having?  You might not need to resort to Kickstarter or USPC to make your deck a reality.  The prize is your deck getting printed by the contest sponsor, the Expert Playing Card Company, and you receive thirty-six dozen decks!
