I have been a lurker on here for about a month, and decided it was time to sign up. I have very recently gotten into card collecting, but have gone into with great vigor (as bank account can attest
). I have always enjoyed cards, I was raised on card games from memory and go fish as a toddler, to "specialty" deck games like Uno and Skip-Bo, then onto rummy, hearts, crazy eights, euchre, and poker. Card games were played multiple times per week as a family while I was growing up.
As for collecting I have no real loyalty to ellusionist, Theory11, or D&D. I have bought from them all and am generally pleased with them. I also buy from other sites like CARC, HOPC, and the like. I try not to leave anyone out. As far as favorite decks, I am thrilled with the Exquisites (still on the fence about jumping on their mixed 6 pack), there are a lot of decks I have that I have to still sort through, so in a few weeks I will have a better answer. I got into decks a little too late to jump on the Kings Wild kickstarter stuff, so I am still debating how much I actually want to pay for them on ebay, but I do want them and I doubt I will miss out on any of Jackson's future projects.
Other decks on my to buy list are the Fournier 605s, but might wait until the end of March to get them (the way I am paid I get a lot more at the end of the quarter than the in between months), Whispering Imps, and of course the Kings Wild stuff.
