That card back is slick. I see these sales going well beyond the traditional collector. Get these sold in PXs by next Xmas maybe?

Great job, and I look forward to seeing this type of quality for the Marines....

Back? It looks more like a tuck box to me.

If it's not on Kickstarter,  I wonder if we'll have a chance to pre-order the decks.

Actually, it was on Kickstarter.  I know he has some leftover decks and they're available on his website, from both Part 1 and Part 2 of the series.

Don, I'm confused on what you're saying here. I think Sher was wondering whether or not this Army Deck will be on Kickstarter or sold exclusively on Jackson's website. And then it sounded like you were referring to his past projects.
I'm open to being corrected, I'm just confused. I don't want to miss out on any new info and you seem to always have the scoop.

I thought Sher was asking about Fed 52 Part 2 decks...  Blah...  I need more sleep...

No,  10ofclubs is right.  I was asking about the Army deck.  I knew the past two were on Kickstarter (both of which I sadly missed). I'm so glad I'll have a chance to be in on this one! :)

Since my great great grandfather came over from Poland, at least one member of each generation of my family has served in the Army, so needless to say, I can't wait for these.  Not to mention all the friends I have that have or are still serving in the Army.

Really looking forward to the whole series, thanks for taking it on Jackson.

Coming to kickstarter on March 15th at 12pm (I'm assuming EST) just look at the number for the limited edition, that's going to go for mega bucks after the project is over. Looks amazing!!

I think we might break kickstarter when these launch.
Starting to get better...have to stay dedicated...can't lose any more cards in the middle of a trick.  Literally, completely lost a card.

:karrit:  Don't know why, but that's about how I feel.  Dazed, able to do nothing but munch on a carrot because of the sheer beauty of these cards.  I hope I'll be able to get in on the LTD editions.  I'll be going in hard on these.  I come from an Army family and have a lot of friends that served as well.

Good God, Jackson! You were clearly born to design playing cards.

If you make a life-long career of this, they are going to erect a museum for your work alone...  and the rest of us are going to go bankrupt!

It's not safe to make either assumption, really.

Jackson does live in the Central time zone, and it's currently CST, not DST, meaning Central Standard Time.  CDT, or Central Daylight Time, begins in late March.

Kickstarter, however, is located in Brooklyn, NY and uses Eastern time (currently EST) for everything.

Without a clarification, we don't know for certain which is meant, but the safer bet of the two would be EST.  It's safer because if it's not at 12pm EST, that time is also 11am CST and you simply need to wait another hour.  If you thought it was 12pm CST, didn't check until then and realized that 12pm EST was the actual time meant, by that time it would be 1pm EST, one hour past the launch time.

(...and yes, 12pm is indeed "noon", while 12am is "midnight"...)

I thought I saw you say something about Memphis in another post, where in Memphis?  I lived in East Memphis off of Kirby Rd when I was in middle and high-school.

Daylight Saving Time starts on March 9, so when these are released, it'll be DST (Central).

You're right - they keep moving the dates!  In fact, under the current schedule, we're on "Standard Time" less days of the year than "Daylight Saving Time", making Daylight Saving Time the actual "standard"...  "CDT" rather than "DST (Central)" is the common abbreviation.

Oh man. Finally, I'm able to get in on a Jackson Robinson / Kings Wild deck! I may never be able to afford the Fed 52s 1 or 2 but they are so secsy.... I'm ready. Setting alarm to remind me to queue up the browser in March.

Jackson moved to Barlett Tennessee - basically a suburb of Memphis.  I just got a package from his new Kings Wild Fulfillment Center yesterday.  He was "on the way" when we talked a couple of weeks ago - maybe near a month, now?

(sorry, I missed the post later on in the thread - he already said that)

"Independence" is almost funded after 6½ hours and the Limited Edition decks are almost sold out already. If you want one, better get yourself over there now! He set a high goal - $60,000...
