Just saw this on Facebook. On the top left corner on the shelf is a turquoise deck. I'm not sure what is but maybe it's the nautical themed deck that's supposed to be coming soon.

With D&D it's indeed possible that it's a new deck.  I recall that they introduced the Vintage Plaid deck by showing it off in a video they made without actually referring to it or saying anything about it.  It's their signature style for stealth deck introduction.

What can I say?  They like making teasers that are subtle but detectable.  I remember it was a handful of weeks after the reveal that they released the Vintage Plaids.  I'd wager that those two decks are part of a New Year's Day release - they've made a tradition of releasing a deck on January 1st, right AFTER the holiday shopping season is done and everyone is broke from gift spending...

Well it wasn't exactly subtle. It's very in your face that this is a new deck but their marketing is good. They leave no indication as to what it is or when it's coming out. Very clever actually, generates it's own hype really. I'm with you in expecting to see these on New Years.

I call it subtle because there's no attempt to introduce the deck or announce its upcoming release.  They simply plopped the deck in the photo and left it there like part of the scenery, exactly as they did with the Vintage Plaids.  You can't even see the entire tuck box, never mind the cards.

Meh, I don't care any more for this "subliminal" advertising than the overhyped variant. All we can gather from this is that "D$D has a new deck coming out soon", which as long as they are still in business is a true statement.

Hear, hear!  It's still a form of tease.  What is so gawdsawful about a company simply showing us a deck and giving us a release date, period?  Honestly, does any company think we still need to be "tricked" into buying their cards?  We either like them or we don't, simple as that - get rid of the cloak-and-dagger BS.  It would be refreshingly honest and would show respect for their customers.

I don't think so. The HMNIM teasers show a deep navy blue for the tuck. That deck has more of a teal color. Plus, the lines on either side don't mesh with the HMNIM design.

I think it's the newsletter they sent out featuring these if i'm right. I agree, it was indeed impressive, much like a lot of things they've been putting out recently.
