Thanks Kete for me as well.

It's undeniably a pretty design - the one-way back is a bit of a bummer, but at least they're doing something artistic with it, suited to the deck theme.  I think it was a missed opportunity to not change the courts, but there are those who love the familiarity factor.  The new colors in the courts makes up for it to some degree.

We don't know who ordered this deck from USPC, do we?  Or if it's a company release for Asia/Pacifica?

That is a beautiful design, I wonder if the tuck is actually embossed or just made to look that way? Would be great to get more info on this release.

There doesn't appear to be a product page link yet, perhaps it's coming soon.

If you check this link you'll see the banner image though ... http://hqswj.tmall.com/

That page makes me really wish I'd learned Chinese...  But I have to learn Russian and Japanese first, and maybe French!

Pretty design!  I'm going to have to pay some close attention to the international market.  I keep missing releases.

I like this deck, and would love someone to put together a deck along these lines with custom royals.

I'm not sure if you're aware, but there is someone who has done exactly that.

In my opinion, they're spectacular.

The deliveries have begun for the blue backs and the reds are likely just around the corner; I'm sure you'll be able to find some in the secondary market.

The Emperor deck is definitely nice and I'm eagerly awaiting my delivery, but color me interested on this Chinese Opera.  Just because someone has done an Asian themed deck already, doesn't mean another person can't release their own deck as well.  Just look at the myriad of Steampunk, Cthulu or Zombie decks out there.

Being Chinese, I'm always hyped about Asian themed decks. I have a pet peeve about one way backs though...and I felt that the court cards could have been customized so that the JQK were wearing the opera masks.

Still pretty neat though.

Must I?  It hurts my eyes...  :))

Kidding aside, it's an attractive deck.  And yes, there's no law saying that there can only be one Asian-themed deck.  If there was, USPC would be in a lot of trouble by now...

Google isn't quite up to translating text on images yet either, otherwise we'd know a little more.
