I've been working on my new playing card deck design. I am a 3D Artist and I used both Maya and Photoshop to create these images. Feedback would be great since it is a work in progress. Would love to see these hit the market one day. Anyone can contact me about these cards at sean.whelan.designs@gmail.com

I have been in contact with the uspcc to get this deck rolling. Designs are finalized and copyrighted. I will be starting a Kickstarter page for the deck shortly (within a couple of days).

About the deck:
-First deck to be created the a 3D program (Maya) along with photoshop
-custom ace
-custom joker(with reveal)
-custom back designs
-In-depth story to go with the designs. The back design was created for a reason... (back designs and Jokers go hand in hand )
-Deck focuses on the jokers rather then the ace
-one of the first decks to put the joker design on the front of the tuck case

I also just uploaded a brand new promotional image to get this deck hyped up!
More information will be released with the launch of the Kickstarter page...

Since there is only that one picture I really can't say what I think because the deck may look very different than the teaser picture. With all the new decks coming out its going to be difficult to earn customers business I think. You've got the seasons decks, the vortex deck, the possible white lions (red edition), mana deck, and not to mention it seems that there are new decks being announced everyday. This deck will really need to be a homerun for me to pick up.

Another sci-fi deck already? Cool. =]

The Ace of Spades is gorgeous. Unfortunately, nothing is sci-fi/techno/robotic about standard pips and fonts. However, that's not a big deal at all. My issue is that back design. Perhaps it is just a prototype but it has a slew of issues in terms of practicality, and looks eerily similar to something else.

Honestly though, that back design is god awful. I love the render work - it's fantastic, but you need to be able to translate that onto a deck of cards.

I do suspect this is just a draft design and far from the final version though.

The guy has serious talent, but i am no longer buying decks that have no customizations other than Ace,Joker,Back.

Can you address the delay that people are facing receiving your Brimstone deck.

People are really starting to get frustrated that they purchased in advance, and then aa the major re-sellers got their deliveries first. So now, people can just buy off them, and get their decks before the pre-purchasers

Sorry to go off topic everyone.

I really thought I had everything needed and ready to go for shipments of the Brimstone deck. I completely miscalculated how much of an ordeal the whole thing is! I had to ship out the kickstarter backers decks out first, now i have started shipping out the web orders. I am catching up to 'real time' and I have been shipping out daily.

Also keep in mind that shipping and customs can take WEEKS for international orders (even Canada!)

I am having a fulfillment company ship out the Americana decks. They should ALL be shipped in 10-14 days after the arrival from USPCC.

I have definitely learned a thing or two on shipping, pay someone else to do it!
