not sure if any topic intend this yet, but today a friend of mine show me his new pair of Arcane he just have bought. Although both of them are Performance Coating (based on box, we haven't opened them yet) the white have custom Sealed (like usual) but the Black one doesnt. plus, at the bottom of boxes, White one still have the old logo (letter E with Olive) when the Black is the new logo (Eagle), is this Black fake or not?! i haven't buy Arcane for abt one year so now confuse ???

I don't have any Arcane decks, because they weren't that interesting to me. However, I do have a lot of other decks that I bought directly from Ellusionist that did not come with any seals. Republic No 2, Executive, Artifice Tundra, Blue, Green, and Purple.

USPC runs aren't exact. When there are extra, they offer to sell them to you at a reduced cost without seals.

So this is what that is.

Either that, or it was a foul-up on the line and a few boxes went stickerless.  That's happened enough times.

Either way, not a big deal - the deck is legit.  I can't imagine there's a big market for fake Arcane decks...

Ellusionist simply ran low on Black Arcane and had the Black reprinted. When the Black's are ordered, they were updated to Ellusionist's current branding specifications. OR they had both Black and White reprinted (no seals) and the old Black Arcane's simply sold out before the White's. So the old White's are still being distributed until those sell out also. I don't own Arcane's either. They look nice but not my style.

But why go through the trouble of making a custom seal, just to stop using it?  I think it was just a glitch.  Some collectors will pay extra for such glitches.  (I'm not one of them.)

The problem is that those decks originally does not come with any seals. The Arcane deck originally had custom seals, except for the few seen here, and as Don mentioned may be a technical glitch.

What on Earth do you need support for?  Are your pants falling down?

Dude, it's just missing a sticker seal, something you tear open when you open the deck anyway.  If you're that anxious about having the seal on it, find some collector on eBay willing to pay for the "rare variant" and you'll have enough left for a new deck and something more.  But it's not like Arcanes are rare or valuable collectibles, so it should make zero difference - whenever they're running out, they print more.

I'm not saying your theory is necessarily wrong.

If its not a glitch, the custom seal designing expenses technically would have been covered by the profit from the first printing. E would be saving money by not having a seal on any additional printing of the deck. That's the way I see it.

I ordered 3 pairs or arcane from E recently. The white all have seals, the black all don't have any seals. So i think they are changing to arcane decks without seals, but the whites are still left over.
