Do any of you know what tricking is?

I was just wondering. If you don't know what it is, it's similar to parkour. It involves flips, twists, and basically just defying gravity.

If you want to check out a video of what it is, go here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ghqM1XfkqzE

One of my friends created the channel and he has created a team and they trick together and that is one of the videos they made. If you like it watch a few more of their videos and even other peoples.

Thanks,
Austin

It's pretty cool.  I wouldn't say it's related to parkour, though.  Parkour is more about getting from point A to point B regardless of the obstacles in-between.  This is more like taking Olympic-style floor gymnastics and throwing in a lot of martial arts footwork from a variety of styles.  A little kung fu, a little capoeira, a dash of jiu-jitsu...

I think it needs a better name!  "Tricking" sounds more like something a prostitute does on a busy Friday night.  How about "anti-gravity gymnastics?"  :))  Just call it "anti-grav" for short.

Cool dude, the other member of Joker and the Thief does Parkour, Freerunning and Tricking.
I agree with Don, however it's probably more based on free running; Parkour with flips. I'm no expert but hanging around a guy who wears track pants 24-7, knowledge kind rubs off on you.

I know it's not really parkour, but a lot of lay men that have no knowledge of it and see usually think of parkour even though it isn't.
