When I first heard of this series, I thought they might be interesting. But as I'm seeing them, I'm not.
It's an art deck that isn't artistic enough, and a playing card deck that's not so easy for playing with. Flourishing with them might be cool, but countless decks that are better looking already fit the bill. To me, it's a little too alien to want to use in a magic routine. It seems to be aimed strictly at "All your Bicycle are belong to us!" collectors and aficionados of Chinese/Asian folklore.
This would have been an awesome project if Eric Duan had taken an approach more similar to the Blue Blood deck, where there's real artistry and each card has some nice touches to it, not just the faces and the AoS. And no, making half the pips in outline doesn't cut it for me. The faces look like he clipped some patterns and pasted them into standard faces like a collage - some may love this, but I'm not one of them.
