McKittrick Hotel Playing Cards

I found this deck that's being sold by the McKittrick Hotel gift shop in NYC. It has bird and bat taxidermy imagery, but I don't know if it's a USPC deck. It has 56 cards and has four "13" cards, a symbolic number to the hotel.

The limited edition print of the Ace of Spades is now sold out, but the joker print and the deck appear to be in stock.

Nice cards.  I'd consider buying them if I had more cash right now.

There is no actual "McKittrick Hotel" in New York, and never has been.  It's an elaborate theater setting using six floors of three different warehouses to present a reinterpreted version of "Macbeth" with elements of film noir.  The play, called "Sleep No More", is done "promenade-theater style", meaning that the audience, rather than sitting in seats by rows and aisles, wanders through the entire hotel setting and is permitted to interact with the environment where the action takes place.  Here's a NY Times article about it from March of last year, probably around the time that the "hotel" opened its doors.

Hmm not a fan of the back design. The fronts are quite aesthetically pleasurable to the naked human eye. (I was always told to be specific and literate jk ) in all seriousness, quite a nice design. The jokers are scary as though haha. For $15 I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. Just my 5cents worth. (Excuse the pun).
