Beautiful! You should have seen my face when I saw the conclusion! I HAVE to learn this trick! :o

...On a slightly unrelated note, does anyone know where I can get that edition of EATCT(The one seen in the video)? The CARC one is way too small for my taste, and I've seen that one a couple times in pictures but haven't seen it sold anywhere yet.

Edit: I've been watching it many times now, and I still can't get over how amazing it is. I think I know who I'm ordering from next. ;D

Looks like the John Bodine and Theron Schaub version.  There's no text in it; it's a blank book for coming up with your own ideas, with the drawings from EATCT left in place.  I think it's stupid.

Actually, I've seen one open with the full pages of text in it somewhere. I know the "journal" one sold by D&D looks the same, but it's not like it's an original design, there could very easily be a similar edition somewhere.

As for the trick, I'm already planning my order. Must. Have. This. :P

Started Googling for EATCT, found this cool article:

The best version available right now in a handheld, non-miniature size is the Erdnaseum edition - which unfortunately is only in e-book format.  B&N sells it for the Nook and Amazon sells it for the Kindle.  It does, however, have the complete text with images, as in the original 1902 book, with a short list of errata at the front of the book.

And it's cheap: about $3.

Heh, I don't have a Nook, Kindle or iPad. I'll have to look a bit more. ::)
Let's see... Google, my friend, you must have something for me...

Yeah, both that one and the myth are the kind of tricks that make me really consider getting into magic, at least that specific part of magic. I think I might get those two along with a couple blue crowns. Though Bold Assembly also interests me...

Any iOS/Android device or Windows/Mac computer can run free Nook/Kindle apps that let you read the books.  I have mine on my iPad and my iPhone.

IF I'm gonna read it on my laptop, might as well have the PDF instead. And on my iPod, even the bible edition would be larger. Not to mention battery-free. But either way, a digital version just doesn't feel the same. ::)

There are a few editions that seem to be larger, but the cover looks like it was designed in the 80's by an 8yo child. :-\
I know it's a bit of a fancy, but I like good-looking books. :P
