People say nothing's impossible, but I do nothing everyday.

Today I found something that reminded me of you. But don't worry I flushed and everything went back to normal.

There's a "New Message" at the top.
If that doesn't work for you, just simply click on any board ID, click "send private message", and from there you can go to your own inbox.

Hope that helps!

Ok thank you, I am still getting used to V2 but it is really cool, I think once I figure everything out I will like it more than V1. Also the badges are really cool.

You can switch to v1.5 or any of the other skins in your profile view at any time, guys, so if you have an issue with the layout, just switch back. This forum is designed to be more than an information database that dwindles into nothing after a while. We're a community, and that is why I've implemented the community features such as badges.

I decided to go with a public v2 beta and do incremental changes over time, like we did with v1, rather than one giant release date. I feel it serves the community better that way.

Any way we could hide/show the badges likes the notification bar at the top? I'm not completely against them as a feature, but I don't like having them in my face all the time. Space optimization is extremely important for comfort on smaller displays.

Loving the new look. And the badges are really catering to my 'achievement horder' side from playing games.

Effectively boosting your likeliness to spam in order to get them... Yay? ::)

I have basically given up on forcing myself to get these badges. ^_^ I'll just have to rely on my natural posting habits to do the "badge talking" for me.
But yeah. Glad to hear that everyone is on v2 now.

Same. There's really no point in getting them unless you really deserve them.

Same here.  As much as I love collecting playing cards, performing magic and being a part of this forum; I just have to much going on with work, school, family and friends.  I prefer to be out and about seeing and doing new things instead of being behind a computer screen all day trying to get badges.  I love the idea of the badges.  Just not gonna force myself to stay indoors and try to get them all.
