If I didn't know you were looking at yourself perform in a mirror/screen, I'd say you were a zombie. Those eyes...!

Computer screen or video monitor, I believe - it would account for the stare and that you were looking away from the camera rather than into it.
If you want to watch your performance while recording, try either a camera with a flip-around screen or a two-way mirror placed in front of the lens. Better yet, just practice in front of a mirror so much that you have it cold and don't need to see it while recording - watch afterwards instead. The stare does create a somewhat unsettling appearance to the video.
