Working on an article about when rough back playing cards appeared on the market in 1886. I have found a company that came out with a deck that was roughed on BOTH sides. I'm not a magician so I have no experience with them. What little I know about roughing I don't see what the advantage would be. I would appreciate some feedback.

  • Pick a card, any card...no, not THAT card!

Well, without trying to reveal too much about the process of "roughing" and why magicians use rugged cards, consider that two "roughed" surfaces from two different cards, with the roughed sides facing each other, will allow the two cards to move together as if they were one card.  From there, you'll either have to figure it out on your own or contact me in PM!
