I was picked!  I won Pick-A-Card #3!  They're sending me a deck!  I didn't pick the card, but only four people did - I was one of the eight who won the post-pick raffle.

I didn't even see the list, but I just looked, and I do recognize Don's name. ::)
I don't know any of the other names, though. Let's see if they'll come here and tell us.
It's not the first time someone from here wins something cool, and it's always nice to see it happen. ;)

I also won a deck in the random draw. Honestly don't think I've won anything of note before in my life. Very excited, it's one of the decks I'm most looking forward to.

Man, that sounds good!  Bragging rights!  :))


The best I've done in a contest so far, as far as big contests go, would be in the '70s.  DC was running a contest where you had to clip tickets with letters on them from the editorial page and collect them to spell certain words.  The winners were placed in a drawing.  First prize was a walk-on role in the (then-under-production) Superman movie; 50 second prizes were a book, "The Secret Origins of DC Super Heroes".  I won the book.


All in all, I've been having a pretty sweet year-plus.   8)

The Mana deck is also one of my most anticipated decks. If it weren't for the Artifice, it'd have literally no competition for me. ::)
My card was something like 7 of diamonds or jack of hearts, I can't remember for sure.
