Deck of the Year 2019 Nominee: De Novo

Rick Davidson made quite a splash with the introduction of his first deck, Origins.  United Cardists has been releasing annual decks for their forum since 2013, under the ownership of Mike Ferrante.  This tradition continued when Ferrante sold the forum to Mike Ratledge, a fellow 52 Plus Joker member.  2018 was no exception, with the De Novo two-deck release, which began shipping in April of this year.  520 backers on Kickstarter raised over NZ$39,000 to get this deck produced.
