advice uploading videos from phone

So i have videos recored on my phone and im trying to upload them over wi fi to youtube and i have been told using the power cord and plugging it in to my computer i should be able to upload them to my computer there but it will not upload. always takes forever and never finishes, any advice?

Are you copying them over to the computer before uploading?  Uploading directly from the phone is not recommended.  So, what phone, what file format?

samsung exhibit and before they would upload straight to youtube fine but wont now and we cant figure out how to upload to computer.

You need to put the phone into USB mass storage mode and then hook it up to the PC.  It'll act like a flash drive and the video will be on the DCIM folder.
