That is a great deal! I am not into David Blaine that much, I mean I was when I was younger but I fell out of magic few years into my obsession with cards, lol. But this is a great find Sebacc! I hope someone jumps on that opportunity, that would be an awesome time!

I'd love to, but it would involve planning a trip for a time when I can't get a vacation - not an easy feat.

I'd go if it were in Vegas or California, but I can't afford the $5k for the lecture, and several more thousand for the vacation itself. :P

Wow this would be simply amazing, of course living in Australia would make it just a little bit to expensive of a trip for me to make :P
Mystery is the basic appeal of magic. Once the secrets are known, the magician becomes a mere manipulator, an actor in a suspense drama which has little impact because the audience knows the ending in advance.

That's some awesome stuff Sabacc.  David Blaine was the number one person who really inspired me to get into magic.  If it wasn't for his TV special who knows where I would be.  Definitely don't have the funds to attend this but it was really neat just to read about it and know that David will be doing this lecture next year.  Thanks for posting.

That's epic! If I had an extra grand laying around, and airfare... I'd jump on that asap!
