Hello,

Finally, I decided to sell a tutorial for this. This is not the one I had on the youtube. I just finished the video today. Sadly it couldn't be finished before valentine. However, there are a lot of improvements, additional tips, different sizes of roses. Everything that I wasn't happy with the first version is all fixed now.

I'm selling this for 15$. Accept paypal, or if you don't have it, I accept decks too. Offer me.
(But I will give to tutorial only when the decks reached me)
And you will need to have youtube account for this.
Because, I'm listing it as a private video, and I'll add your account to my list if you buy it. No downloads.
(Please understand me at this point, I'm avoiding the pirate sharing of this.)

And if you have any problems regard to the production of the roses, you can contact me anytime, I'll be here to answer and help.

Thank you for your time  :)

**For those who traded roses with me, I'll give you free access for the tutorial.
I'll contact you for your youtube account

And belows are pictures of the roses.

Hey Phantom, why did you delete your video on how to make these? I saw your video and I actually made one, it's a pretty cool thing. Hope you get a thriving business!

Because someone contacted me and ask me to delete it.
But, I won't say anything in details about that.
The video is still on, but it's in my private list.

oh, okay, I like the idea but the pricing is a bit over the top, don't you think? I mean $4.50 per rose when you can easily make it for like $1. A single playing card costs like 5 cents and pipe cleaners don't cost much do they. I know that you are trying to stir a profit, but lowering the price to about $2 a rose would make your customers happier. Also, allowing them to buy as many as they want, and not a set amount would be better too. In addition, you can charge more money for a rose if the deck is a specialty one, such as the Ellusionist decks. If they wanted black roses, you can use the Black Ghost decks and charge them like $6 a rose.

The price I charge isn't for cards that I make the roses.
I'm selling ideas. And I have to spend time to make roses, it isn't just few minutes to make.
And yes, I could use other decks such as v6 too, but that must be pre-order then.

Well, at most it's like half an hour per rose if you want to be super exact.

Also, what do you mean when you say you're selling ideas?

Also, I think pre-orders will be fine, I don't find waiting if it means quality in the products.

Hey, if you think it's so cheap and easy to make your own, what's stopping you?

When an artist creates a painting or a sculpture, do you think they're simply going to charge you the cost of the materials used to make it?  It's a freakin' work of art!  If anyone could create art, then perhaps it wouldn't be such a big deal, but that's not exactly the case, is it?

Forgive me for being upset by this, but I hate it when someone devalues artistic work like that.  It demeans all artists in all artistic fields of endeavor - including magicians and cardists.

It'd be quite interesting to see roses made out of more colorful cards... I really like the idea :) Did you make any out of other decks? Even just blue rider backs would be nice to see.

Being the Alice fanboy I am, I might just order a few reds with a queen of hearts attached ::)

Edit: @Sabacc, Amen. Those posts made me cringe too....

I don't know what the blue rose would look like.
But I really think it would be awesome if I use the V6 for this. (But, I don't want to ruin my V6 just yet.)

What would you want to add to our trade to throw in a dozen roses?  Something that I either have or can obtain at retail?  My fiancee would love these.

A thought just occurred to me - I have a S&M V6 deck that got ruined when my fiancee's son smeared lipstick on my fingers without me knowing about it.  Perhaps I'll send that to you for rose-making with the rest of my trade!  NO charge.

Ill take that in my consider.

And i dont want to make a new thread because the new thing will still be roses.
I prefer keeping things in one place and keep the board clean.

Clever idea... I'm glad you sold out... But I will tell you this - I am the one who loves cards... My wife is the one who loves flowers... These are two worlds that I will not attempt to combine... If you're able to pull that one off - great... But if I even thought about handing my babygirl some playing cards shaped like roses - Let's just say I better have some gold and diamonds in my other hand... hahaha...
