UNVEILING THE NEW DECK "GEMINI" presented by the #queenOfClubs . I am quite happy with the color palette and I am going for this. Changes and tweaks will be done. So, why Gemini? in latin it means TWINS and all the courts will have 2 different faces, as I did for the 58th card of Heretic playing cards. A lot of work to do, this is just the beginnig

I'm assuming that Lorenzo will launch this after #17 is fulfilled.
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

These are some great-looking courts.  I've never actually seen a court character that "interacts" with the large pip placed next to its head, traditionally.  It's a very cool look.

I like its concept, having twins with 2 different faces. I takes a while for me to find the difference on the QoC.

Beautifully done  :D

Lorenzo defiantly has an established 'style' now. Although tackling different designs each time his work is recognizable, melancholy and, most importantly, beautiful. I can't wait to see more of this.

I don't know of any date, but Lorenzo is pretty good about not starting a new project on KS until the previous project is completed and shipped. His No. 17 project is projected to ship in July, but I believe he is running a little early. Fingers crossed :D

Ah, too true, though it is a bit different.  Rather than simply poking the heart with a sword, the court in this deck is actually grasping the heart.  That's interaction!

In other suited decks like Spanish, German, Italian et al., courts hold their suit symbol. I guess it's not done for French suited decks because the symbols are a bit more abstract. Take diamonds (tiles in French) for instance, they don't look like anything nor do they appear in traditional iconography like hearts at least.

It's certainly not something seen often in an International Standard design, and I think it looks really cool!  Now I just have to hope that it doesn't start such a trend that the next dozen decks on Kickstarter all have the same design feature...  :))
