  • I like birds.

  • Kickstarter:
This deck is actually really cool.

Legitimately dark courts, and a neat back. A bit cheesy, but it's better than most dark-satan-death-emo-skull-goth-bone decks out there.

Aside from magic decks by Magic Makers, I've never seen an all-red deck like this before, certainly not with custom art.  I like it.

I am with don, this does not happen often. Personally to dark for my taste.
Do you guys even read this? Like I could have the meaning of life here and I doubt you would know it.

Lorenzo managed the playing card project for Net.ent
http://playingcardcollector.net/2013/05/21/playing-cards-by-net-entertainment/

He is an artist from Sweden and has several playing card designs in mind. You forgot to mention here that he is looking for a producer or a founder to print these decks.

IMHO, the design is quite aggressive. But, as I remember, he said me in our conversation that he is going to keep it without any changes because this is his strict vision of these decks.

Didn't know we had this thread already. Thank God for the search! ;)

Just got word from Lorenzo that Requiem will be launching on KS is less than 24 hours.

A very dark deck indeed but with it's uniqueness and cool factor, funding won't be a problem IMHO.

:)

I love the layout, design, color scheme, but my line is drawn at cannibalism. Just not something I want to bring into my collection. Much like the Oracle playing cards, too dark and not something I would bring out to play games with. So I guess my line is drawn at ouija boards.

Reminds of a time when I was collecting action figures: I bought one of Clive Barker's Tortured Soul figures (they were highly sought after and hard to come by), and when I received it, I propmptly put it in a box and hid in in my closet for a very long time. I sold it later and made some money on it, but it was part of a theme that didn't sit all squishy and warm with me.

Bu I digress, and regardless, I see his campaign going through the roof.

Wow...I like this deck so much. It is indeed a dark deck, but seriously, there are many other dark decks out there. IMO, these seems much darker mainly because of the all red deck.

But to a collector, these is a unique deck, good design on the custom courts, good overall theme, great deck colour to suit the theme. If i was to be picky, i would hope the tuck box colour would be a little "darker" as well. But clearly a "bloody" nice deck

I really like this deck. :) The one off-putting image for me is the Queen of Hearts, but that's okay. That might have been the intent, anyway.

If i was to be picky, i would hope the tuck box colour would be a little "darker" as well.

Yeah, it might've been nice for one of the tuck boxes to be red.

I love this deck for it's "all in" mentality and have tons of friends who will want it. I have kids in my house and it's a little too over-the-top for me personally, but full props for taking it "to 11" on these. I think he might have a small issue with the naked breast image on KS, but if he just doesn't put it in the campaign, he'll probably be fine.

There are a lot of art projects on KS that show naked breasted women so Requiem's shouldn't be a problem.

  • You only go around once - spin hard as you can!
Guys, if you haven't read the back story of the deck, the QoH is purposefully off-putting. Symbolically meant to say that the girl cut his heart out and chewed him up. No cannibalism, really - just blunt honesty. Good comments overall, I am his US crew and agent for resellers. Meh, it is almost funded already and we don't want to dilute the value. Probably do a gross at $9, but smaller amount will pay $10. Maybe do 6 bricks at 9,5$

I suppose that I should have added that my mother is Danish, so when I flip flop European style, it's just second nature. I have family in København & Sønderborg, and a few relatives in Germany as well. The European (and especially Scandinavian / Nordic) mindset on sexuality is quite different.
