I never used that code and I keyed in exactly as stated in this thread, don't know, but we have 3 codes that give 10% discounts so having that reassurance is good.

The three most common reasons for a code to fail:

1. It was a "single-use only" code that you already used.
2. You tried to apply more than one code.
3. The code specifically didn't apply to the merchandise you were buying, i.e., using a code for % off on decks to buy a DVD.

Guys, are you certain that your attempts don't fall into one of those three categories?

For those who haven't noticed yet, since CBJ left we've had a bit of a vacuum in the PCP, most notably in the "Upcoming Decks" department.  Alex bumped me to moderator of the Plethora earlier today (thanks, bro!) and I've taken his list, combined it with my Kickstarter Deck Projects Report and made the "New Deck Report".

I want your thoughts, opinions, suggestions, rants, raves and other gutteral rumblings on what you think of this new format, what decks you know about that I don't, what suggestions you have, what complaints you want to shout at me, and so on.  I'm doing this for you (as a group!) so I want this to be delivered the best way I can.

Release dates are a great idea, and one I thought of including.  The only problem is that they tend to be either tough to find out or a bit elusive to pin down.  Until a week or so ago, we thought the Silver Steam Punk deck would be released by USPC in December - and it's on sale now at Wingra Direct!


If I can get consistent information on release dates, I'll work on including them.  But if I can only get one here and one there, etc., then the info in the topic itself should handle that for me.


I'm an active user here, and even I sometimes overlook new and soon-to-be-released decks just because they haven't been talked up a lot lately.  For instance, I overlooked the Emmanuel Jose decks the first time I posted the chart!  Even an experienced user can find benefit in having it all in one place with topic links.

Don... I suggest making sure your link to U.C.'s upcoming decks page goes uninterrupted    Imitation is the best form of flattery... How you all find out about the new releases perplexes me to this day... However, I can say you're doing a great job with the site so far and keep up the good work...

I don't really understand how the list is ordered. Maybe you should order them company per company. But if you have another order I didn't notice, that's great to... And like is said before, maybe just put in the release dates of the decks, or to simplify it, when decks are going to be released in, let's say, one week, you just put the name of the deck in the list in bold or in another colour with the release date next to it, so that it's easy to follow which ones are going to be released in few days. Other than that, great work on having all these info and url's on there.

I believe the new deck report is a great way to gather up all the new and upcoming decks instead on having thousands (literally) of threads on each deck and project. The choice of including coupon codes is also a wonderful added benefit. I can't wait to see what other idea you come up with Don! :D

Seems pretty simple to me - alphabetic by title.
It's hard to order them by release date when many decks don't have a given release date.
Doing something to indicate a deck is coming soon is a good idea, though.  I'll think on it.

EDIT: I've thought a little more about this - if all I ever do is keep re-editing the first post, it won't appear on people's "unread posts" list, am I right?  Whether or not that's the case, it's still true that it may be easier to deal with new deck news getting sent to me on the topic instead of in my PMs.

Is there a maximum limit for the size of a single post?  'Cause now I'm keeping an archive of released decks there as well, meaning that the post will only get longer...

You need to change Spider Kingdoms, that was cancelled. And you should also add the new Surge deck from Sean Whelan.

Spider Kingdoms, yes - have a few updates to add.  It's interesting to note that they state on the project page that they're "in the process of being acquired by a larger company", so this deck may no longer be a KS project, but it may not be dead, either.


As for Galvanic Surge - it's still in the design stage.  When it becomes a completed deck design, then I'll add it.
