I guess that the conclusion I draw from all this is that doing all the necessary parts of making a deck is actually a bit of work, and not everyone gets all those parts right on the first try. But as we can see, the first try is your most critical try and you have to put in the effort the first time, not try to clean it up later.
I would suggest that proofreading be a preliminary task they look into, as Don points out. I sumbit that for approval.
