You know D&D have gift coupons for sale. You also know that they have discounts for items on their site. What do you get when you combine the two? Free Dough! If you buy their $50 Gift Certificate, and use their Fancy discount, you only get it for $45, that saves you $5. That's enough for another deck at their site, or a few. I don't know if this is what they wanted to happen, but I can't believe I found a loophole around the system, their system. Tell me what you guys think!

Can you reuse the discount on something you buy with said gift card, though? If not, that would just be the equivalent of using the discount directly on a $50 order. But if you can... Now THAT would be an awesome deal.

It doesn't sound like a glitch to me.  The same would happen at almost any retail site selling gift certificates and offering discounts, unless they specified that it doesn't apply to gift certificates.  You get the discount buying it, and the ultimate user (be it you or someone else) gets the discount again when buying something.


In theory, unless they had safeguards in place, you could buy gift certificates and use them to buy more gift certificates, eventually compiling a small fortune in store credit...  But it's unlikely they'd allow someone to buy a gift certificate with a gift certificate.

Actually it doesn't say that anywhere on the contact form for inquiring about it.

That's what I was told by them. You dont need it but without it, there are pretty strict requirements, and you'll have to have a pretty high trafficing ebay store/website.
