With the year coming to an end, I'd figure I'd post a topic where we all get to express which stories were of most important to us. Here is my list share yours (how ever many) below!

2. Japan Tsunami
3. Charlie Sheen taken off Two & a Half Men

The countdown to Harold Campings rapture and the end of the world was pretty exciting.  ;D
And the SF 49ers are jamming pretty much this year.

Yeah Michael Jackson died on June 25th TWO YEARS AGO! so maybe the 2nd anniversary of his passing but that wasn't a huge news story. Not sure where that one came from haha. So you've got nine there and one from 2 years ago

  • Pick a card, any card...no, not THAT card!

Apollo wasn't a Kickstarter project.  Merz67 deck's are in the section of the newspaper with the funny anecdotes, so they're not really news.

I would add:

The New York Magic Project's biggest release to date, the white Arrcos

The partnership between T11 and USPC - cheap Guardians for everybody!

Pure Smoke - one of the hottest gimmicks of the year, to be sure

the plethora of holiday sales, contests, releases, etc.

The massive end-of-year deck glut - a bubble in the market may be approaching.  It's one thing if a dozen artists are making their personal projects, but when the "majors" are releasing decks both new and vintage, mostly rare, practically every week, that can be a problem for the market as a whole.

Oops, I didn't mean Appolo, I meant Crimson Gate I think (Even though they didn't make it).

An about Merz, infamy still make him some of the biggest card news in my opinion.
