Here is a more recent image of our card layout:

Click through for our artist's website!

I'd like all you cardists to know that we have THINNED THE BORDERS!

Also, GBAllison attempted to link to a backers-only update, which doesn't seem to work.  You can see the jokers at the bottom of this public update!

, Ned - pick up the pace!  :))

I'm tryin'!!  Bought some ads on Facebook (so far so useless!) and Google ads... Researching like a mutha' to find where I should market!

I like these a lot more than his previous 8-bit deck!  Well done!

Also check out our updates!  Our backer-designed Jokers are on the way!

Thank you all for your continued support!  Only a FORTNIGHT left to meet our goal, so spread the word!

Especially now that we see the redesigned back ... this is a stunning deck of cards, with proper indices, two-way back, USPCC, custom courts, unique pip layouts and ... just a gorgeous look.  I am amazed that this isn't fully funded yet.

I knowww!  It's driving me to crazytown.  :-[

If any of you have any venue through which to spread the word, please do so!  Let's get these cards made!  :D

Thought I'd save y'all the trouble and throw up our mockup card with the redesigned back!  Feast your eyeholes on THIS!

In addition to the redesigned backs, we will be announcing our Jokers soon!  A brave and beautiful card collector (serving his country in Afghanistan!!) pledged at the co-designer level just yesterday.  He is in talks with the artist now!   ;D

Happy to share my e-space, Chosen. Better that than my carrot.

Hey all, I am Ned Redmond, the owner and founder of Deco Playing Cards.  We are a recent startup in the United States dedicated to creating cards that are works of art as well as educational: each deck will be inspired by material culture or art history.  While not a designer myself, I fund and direct the artists, conduct business, do shipping, and create promotional materials.  I have been interested in an undertaking like this since I studied art history in college.  Finally trying to live the dream of creation!

I found out about the forums after your own Don Boyer messaged me on Kickstarter.  I had just debuted our first project: the Sultana deck.  I don't know how to hyperlink text in this forum, so here you go:

Hey, this is Ned Redmond of Deco Playing Cards!  Sorry I left you guys high and dry for a bit-- I had no idea I was being followed so closely!  :o  You could have messaged me on my Facebook for more information!

Well, the wait is over!  The Kickstarter has launched!

I hope you like what we have to offer!  I will answer any questions you have right here or in the Kickstarter itself.  Thanks for your interest!

P.S. I like your emoticons.  :bosswalk:
