Last year I asked a girl I hardly knew to a dance with a card trick. We've now been dating for almost a year and a half.

I've never really viewed Lance's designs as being ideal for flourishing, but I guess when you've got skills like that you can make any deck look awesome. I particularly like the move at 0:27 where he rotates the cards and is able to keep that central gear recognizable.

Introduce Yourself / Hello!
« on: February 12, 2013, 01:19:17 PM »
Hello friends,

I am migrating here from the recently deceased UC, so I figured I'd take this opportunity to tell anyone who cares to read this a little bit about myself. I am a 17 (soon to be 18) year old magician and playing card collector from a suburb near Chicago, Illinois. I am always buying, selling and trading decks just to get opportunities to check them out. I'm very picky about my "permanent collection" - it consists mainly of rare, vintage or valuable decks, all of which are NIB. Besides doing card tricks and collecting decks, my hobbies include graphic design, writing, running cross country / track & field, long walks on the beach and hanging out with friends. I've got a great sense of humor.

Nice to meet you!

I'd love to see some green RJRTC "watermelon" decks. Looks prettier than the blue / pink imo.

Make the yellow red and we have ourselves an actual watermelon deck.

Haha, I have actually played around with that before Alex, but I don't think it looks as good.

I really like the pips and the "crowns" that appear on the court cards.

Love this design. Has an interesting, vintage-y feel to it. Great work!

Ahh gotcha, thanks for the heads up! I'll move this to sales & trades.
