Rough timing for those of us in Asia, but worth waking up for, I think! =)

Hi Don, offering a USD option is already on the list to see if we can make it work, next week. It's not as simple as adding a button unfortunately, we've got to look to see if our accountancy package can accept a third currency and still work OK, and we need to make sure it's financially viable with our processors (Amazon won't be a problem though).
Regarding US fulfilment - it has been considered at length (a couple of months) ago, but for a multitude of reasons we won't be doing it this time. The main one for the moment is that our prices to the 'big 4' outside of Europe - US, Canada, NZ & Australia - are already pretty good and we're working with Royal Mail to get them down a little further in time for the pre-release. We'll see.
Thanks for your feedback.
Wow.
I keep staring at the noses!
As someone with a big snout myself I find these faces strangely attractive...

email I got from MIcrosoft.....QuoteGood day! Thank you for contacting Microsoft Customer Service.
I understand that you want a special edition of David Blaine deck of playing cards. Your request is subject for availability. I suggest that you contact US XBOX Support at 1-8004MYXBOX(469-9269), they are open daily from 6 AM-10 PM PST.
Guys -- I guess I wasn't clear-- I scored blue bloods gilded.
I closed out the survey. Thanks again guys. I got a lot of valuable feedback from it and applied it to the deck. The color schemes finally figured themselves out in a way that I think everyone will agree works and enjoys. Stay tuned for more pictures and updates as the KS date comes closer.
If these were given out at an event- wonder if any will show up on ebay? I did a search but didn't find anything.
For a souvenir deck like that, odds are that most are sitting on display on someone's deck in Redmond, Washington...

Looks fantastic so far.
Awwww, what happened to all the nice yellow detailing on the back?
I'm with Afrank8 what happened to the yellow Jackson? The card backs had much better depth and eye appeal with the yellow/blue combination.
I'm saving the metallic gold and navy backs for the limited edition version of this deck.
A couple of our members were talking about buying this display in another thread. One of the places you can get it is Collectable Playing Cards
$129.95 + shipping of $4 to my home. (didn't buy) Shipping seemed really low. USPS.com price for package of this size is $16-$24.
It holds 60 decks and is approximately 31"x20". It's 100% acrylic. I'm sure the display weights almost nothing, but 60 decks is something else. The price seems high to me considering it's all plastic. It has an inherent flaw as well. The acrylic(plexiglass) front is only supported on the bottom and top rails. The sides are not supported so that it can slide back and fourth to open the case. Large pieces of plexiglass bow over time if not fully supported. The plastic hangers on the back do not impress me either.
So the question is, as Don would say, if I can build a better mouse trap.
If I can build a better display for about the same cost or less. Would anybody be interested in buying one?
If so, how many decks would you prefer it to hold?
Black-Stained wood?
Very nice displays, shadow boxes do seem to work real well. My display project is still in the works, I have a 5' x 6' space of bare wall next to my desk reserved for it. Originally planned for my Zippo collection, now I'm trying to design something to display both my lighters and decks.
I made a very small lighter display early on using a hinged frame from Micheal's, again very inexpensive with their sales and coupons. I also used a piece of PVC 1/4 round for the "Shelves", a couple bucks at your local hardware store and spray painted black. The thickness of a deck is very close to that of a lighter so this should work well. I'm sorry that the pic has lighters in the display rather than decks, but I got my 1st 2 decks yesterday, lol
Very simple, just thought I would share for anyone looking for ideas.
...to be continued.
