The skulls remind me of the Pirates of the Carribean - I like the face and the look, but I'm not getting it just because it's a one way back. I'll give them an A for effort.

I'd get a brick if it weren't for the one-way backs. I hate that style of card, and I feel it ruins the deck down to its core use: card games.

As far as I can see, no, it isn't black stock. The faces are white, so black stock is unlikely. Zooming in on the photo at the website shows that it looks like just another black-inked-into-the-bleed back, similar to the first edition Artifice decks.
I think I like the vintage-but-not-ancient look to them. Looks like a deck out of the '20s or '30s. Most vintage-look decks appear to be a few decades past a century old.
I can perform tricks with a deck like this - just certain tricks, though. I like the style enough to want to get them.

Navy? Thats really strange. This deck doesn't seem to have any navy in it.
This looks like a nice deck! I think the back looks nice, but I really wish it was not a one way back. The cards have a nice aged looked but it's not super aged. If these stay in stock for while I'll pick some up eventually, but for now I'm going to pass

Turn all your cards facing a single direction. Turn certain key cards you want to track in the opposite direction. Voila - you're now able to know when those cards come off the deck. Each time a reversed back shows up, one of your tracked cards is being dealt.
Most companies making serious playing card designs these days make a deck with a two-way back - the same whether it's turned around or not. If they do incorporate a one-way design (usually if they're making a "magic" deck), they try to make it as subtle and hard to spot as possible, like most of the Karnival decks, the Magic Castle deck, Bike Guardians, Bike Phoenix, card-shark Phoenix, and just too many more to name them all. Only bridge sets with decorative-art backs are commonly sold with obvious one-way designs.

Try it again, it worked for me. Although, I couldn't find the deck, I found the clothes that they sell. I'm not sure if they discontinued the deck, or it's hidden somewhere.

"Hi CBJ, I did some calling around and it seems like the Rugby cards are still in stock at some of the Rugby Ralph Lauren stores. Shipping will cost $10, but the Chicago, Dallas, New Jersey, and one of the NY stores still have some stock left (I didn't call every store though).
Also, the associates also said that they were grabbed up as holiday gifts, but there's a good chance they'll get more decks in stock as the holidays die down.

I ended up ordering mine from the DC store. The decks are a little over $5 dollars in the stores. I don't know if they will restock online.

Yup, all the Rugby stores can ship to anywhere in the US :)
I chose the DC store since it's the closest to me (I live in NC). The sales associates I've spoken to were all pretty helpful.

Just got a deck in the mail. I won it for 20 bucks on Ebay, and then the same deck went for over 40 a day later.. Just wondering if I should open it and enjoy the cards or hold onto it for awhile because it might go up in value? :-[

We have a topic on these cards already.
I opened a deck of mine. They're cool. They have a vintage look, but not century-old-plus vintage like the Series 1800; more like from the 1920s or '30s.
If you want that kind of vintage look without actually opening that deck, then order the Vintage Plaid decks from D&D. They're not exactly the same, but they're roughly of similar vintage in terms of style.

There should be photos posted about decks. I vaguely remember this one. I don't remember what the backs look like though, I think they were one-way which is why I didn't end up buying them

Factor in an additional $4.49 for shipping - minimum cost for a single deck is $20.46. Still, I've seen them go for more. The black one was the first design, the second came some months later. The faces are pretty much the same for both decks, and yes, Alex, they both have one-way back designs, in addition to black-bordered backs and off-white bordered fronts.
When I have a few minutes this weekend I'll photograph both decks for your perusal.
