DAMN - I was wondering when he's release a new design!! This is from the same artist who created White Knuckle Playing Cards, under the design house name Sea of Pain! It took him the better part of two years to make WKs and it reportedly nearly cost him his sanity. Every single card had a unique design in the pips, so, for example, the heart pips on a four of hearts were slightly different from the heart pips on a nine of hearts or a seven of hearts. In addition, that deck had three-dimensional perspective art for all the court cards, which were made using live art models, mostly friends of his.
I knew the moment I saw that back design that it was either the same artist, an homage or a knockoff. Glad to see it's not the latter two!
