5pm GMT/17:00 UTC would be noon Eastern Standard, 9am Pacific Standard, so for most of the country it's more like mid-late morning! Daylight Saving Time (what Brits would call "Summer Time") ended here Sunday 1 November at 2am so the whole country is on Standard Time until the second Sunday in March.

I really like this deck, especially because it is very different from all the other decks out on KS currently...based on the current funding though, it seems that it only appeals to a limited group :( Hope Olly works up the social media and can get the word out to get this campaign going :bosswalk:

I backed this project the other day, too. The art is fun and feel like the monoline design has some personality. Hope it's successful!!

Hello,
I put a deck called 'CONTOURS' up on Kickstarter last year but unfortunately wasn't successful. I did little to no publicity for the project and feel this was a big problem.
I want to put the deck back on Kickstarter in the next month or so and want an initial backing for it if I can get it.
I was wondering if anyone knew any good ways to get this project out there and seen by more people. Any suggestions would but greatly appreciated as I'm struggling to think of anything that won't cost money.
Thanks for your help!
Olly

I remember when these came to KS. They're a nice-enough design, but promotion is becoming more and more vital to a deck's success these days, due to the huge amount of competition. If you don't let people know you're out there, they won't know and can't possibly care.
I'd bump up the production values on the tuck box a bit - it's a key factor for some deck designs and will be more likely to catch the eye of both collectors and perhaps even people into high design. Get a few design blogs to write about your deck and yours could become the next Misc. Goods deck - it's how they made a name for themselves. Collectors initially gave a near-universal shrug when the deck came out - it had some design flaws from a playing card perspective. But a few design blogs wrote favorably about it and to someone into high design, the then-high cost of $15 a pack was a pittance compared to what they might normally spend on home furnishings. Collectors didn't start taking notice until the goal got shattered and the deck's creator tweaked the design a bit to make it more playable/functional. It was the first playing card project to crack the six-figure mark in US dollars raised.

As an experiment, try remaking the courts without frame lines and make the art a little larger. You might like the results.
