I have, and found it quite funny and amusing. Interesting look at childhood in 50s America. I preferred A Short History of Nearly Everything, though.

What grade is it for,? If it for people in junior high, I might read it for my reading project.

im actually about to buy that book because i enjoyed thunderbolt kid so much. very very funny. but i may have found it a tad extra funny because i grew up in des moines iowa

is a short history of nearly everything as funny? or is it a bit more serious?

@KPopFever605 i am a sophomore in college and just read it for my humor in lit class. it is by no means a difficult read, can be long at times, but overall the book is VERY enjoyable and fun to read. i used both the book and the audiobook to get through it in two days for my class. i'd suggest doing the same because you get the exact tone from the author in which he wanted the book to be read. However, also read it cause you will notice the effort that was put into the book.

thanks gunshy! I'll see if they have it at my local library. how would you obtain the audiobook, don't you have to buy those?

I don't know about near you, but near me, libraries carry everything from books to DVDs to music and audiobooks.  No charge if you use a library card and return the items on time.

that... or these super cool things called torrents... but yes i bought the audio book. it was just a few dollars and made it much easier for me to get through in a very short amount of time juggling work and other classes during finals.
