After years of hard work, our new deck of playing cards is finally here. We could not be more pleased and can't wait to share them with you all on Friday, March 13th at 9AM PST. Until then, have a wonderful weekend. Cheers!
A J̶o̶k̶e̶r̶ Buck from our new Antler deck.

Antler Playing Cards, our latest project, aims to capture the essence of the great outdoors.
"Yosemite Valley, drenched in the setting sun, is a portrait that can not be conjured even in a dreamscape. Not only do the vistas evolve throughout the changing months, but each sweeping view transforms with every altered shadow. The Park becomes a window to another world."
For us, while there is no better place to explore imagination than the outdoors, the stretch of creativity reaches far beyond Yosemite.

OK, not going to say anything good or bad until I've seen more. I always hope for the best but prepare for the worst.

The first personalized buck twin deck since smoke and mirror? Or was that vintage plaid?
Art reminds me of Jackson's work. I know I saw a logo Jackson did for D&D.
Not sure about the name? American frontier followed by Antler, isn't giving that buy on release day feeling.

The deck is designed by Tom Lane (Ginger Monkey) in the UK, he was responsible for the Bicycle Archangels also. He's posted a few images dating back nearly a year relating to this deck on his Facebook profile.

Well, you could get two of each color and edition - grand total $80 plus shipping/handling.

These have been posted on Touch of Modern. Leather limited set for $31, limited deck set $18, and normal set $12. If you haven't used Touch of Modern before the link below gives you $10 credit which should essentially be free shipping.

It's more than just Antler. They included Prime ($9), Bruce Lee ($11), Alice in Wonderland ($17/pair) and Ultimate ($18).

I'm in contact with them to find out if this is new stock of the ultimate deck, or leftover stock from their previous sales. I would love to get my hands on a V1 or two, I'm not happy with the seal change on the V2s

is that the only difference between the 2 versions?
Do you have any pictures of both seals? I am interested in what I have :o

Wait - there's a standard edition and a limited edition - but you're trying to say that there's also a version one and a version two as well, bringing the total number of permutations of version/edition/color to 8 different decks?

I think he's referring to the ultimate deck.
Anyways what do u guys think about the antlers? I personally haven't played with them.

I got one deck of the LE antlers when they came out to see how they feel and I loved em. Got that touch of modern deal yesterday it was 28 dollars (including shipping) for the collector's set! Maybe I'll give it to someone as a gift because it looks classy.

Yeah, I think he was referring to the Strangers Ultimate deck too.
I picked up a few of the Antlers and love them. For me, they feel like the best handling D&D deck ever. Closer to aristocrats than the others, and they faro most easily face down (compared to many of the other D&D decks which like to faro face up).
Your mileage might vary, but hopefully these will stay in good supply so you could just try one or two and order more if you also like them.
My only complaint is the size of the borders on the back - a bit too wide for fans (not as wide as the Voltige, but not as balanced and narrow as the Smoke and Mirrors).
The carbon Smokes are very cool with the metallic ink, and more distinctive - but are also a bit stiff and maybe aimed more for flourishing than magic or game play. The original red smokes are cool on the faces with the custom design. But both of those are very expensive now...
The Voltige are very distinctive as well (with the 1 instead of ace, and many other unique touches), and have that amazing tuck. But the huge wide border on the back prevents me from really getting into them, and I like the feel of the Antlers better.
The Antlers have a more regular tuck, but it is still very nice. The colors are subdued, interesting court colors, and the hearts and diamonds are more brown than bright red, but they work well.
All in all, I really like them, and think they are worth the price (both the regular and the limited edition). I actually grabbed one of the collector's sets to get the leather case, it is pretty nice.
