I bet they take forever to break in!  :))

Honestly, I would probably pass because the chosen metals are prone to scratching and I'm not buying cards just for placing on display.  BUT...if he were to make a tungsten carbide deck...that would be stellar.  On the Mohs hardness scale, titanium by itself is a 6 while tungsten is 7.5-8 and tungsten carbide (and titanium carbide) are between 9-9.5.  The low end of the scale is talc at 1 and the high end is diamond (10) but there are a few synthetics that exceed a 10 such as hyperdiamonds and fullerite.

My wedding band is tungsten carbide.  Not only does it have a shine comparable to platinum, but it's nearly impervious to scratches!  The only flaw it has is, like a diamond, it's brittle and a sharp impact can cause it to shatter.

Now THAT would be an AWESOME pack of throwing cards!!  Heh, heh, heh...

I remember thinking "Is this a deck of cards of 25 weapons?" when I originally saw this deck. Most of my pals can throw cards pretty well when they're made of plastic or paper. These... whole new range of possible injuries. :P

25?  Don't you mean 52?  Plus two jokers?

It's like Gambit but without the radioactivity!

This was from Jeff's first metal card project. I'm assuming this set will be the same.

You can see from the photos the ink is etched into the cards. This imbeds the ink into the metal and protects it from wear as you play with them.

I think if I looked most of my posts over the past couple weeks are riddled with typos and incoherent thoughts haha. It's been a rough month. But yea, fifty two plus jokers, I'll keep away from number keys for a bit lol. I do like the stag backs here though I do wonder why he choose to go with this style again. The process seems to be able to handle fine lines pretty well.

Add-on suggestion: Bandages. :)
