Hey, guys, somebody "slipped this under my door" and I thought I'd pass it on to you.
There's a HUGE sale coming. CARC is selling cards BY THE BRICK. Only select models, and only by the brick - no mixed bricks; one color, one finish, twelve decks. $59.99 per brick - that's less than $5 a pack, for a huge number of decks in their inventory, both old and new designs.
It will only last for 48 hours - or while supplies last. It doesn't begin until October 1st at 1pm Eastern (17:00 UTC).

For people who use or collect in bulk, this is a sale you aren't going to want to miss. Many of these decks are expected to sell out and never return. There is NO LIMIT to the number of brick you may buy, other than how many bricks are left.

II'm going to be all over it even though this month has already been a serious kick in the pants in terms of money spent, including a couple hundred at CARC. May as well stock up when the stocking up's is good says I. I may buy a couple bricks of trade fodder, idk yet. Really not my style, nothing to chase to replace if I have a bunch, but the price is right. :D

Yes, the price is hard to argue with. The savings on some of those bricks are more than half-off!

I am a little conflicted as I purchased a brick of the Egyptians for $89.00 dollars and would have preferred to purchase 12 Blue ones for $60.00 instead. This is a difficult hobby to navigate the correct timing. :( This is a very generous sale and I am thankful for the heads up. Now for the difficult part, deciding which brick to pick! ;D

Those brick deals are incredible.
If I can quickly find a buyer for one of my kidneys, I'd pick up bricks of the #202 Legends, and the red Gnostics.
The only problem for international customers like myself is that the savings get totally wiped out by customs fees, due to the (totally understandable/justifiable) way in which CARC mark packages.
For anyone US based though, those deals are probably amongst the best anyone will ever see.

Don't you use a consolidating service like Shipi.to? If not, why?
Send your decks to a US address by mail or private carrier. They accumulate them for you, organize them into a single shipment. You save on international shipping charges from the deck sellers.

I will try to get the Black/Rose Gold Gnostic legends, maybe a brick of something else. I like the Gnostic legends but IMO that color scheme is by far the best, on the tucks and cards.

Even if they were to get forwarded to a US address, the company that forwards the package on would still mark the package with the same value as what CARC has put on the box... and so there is no question of savings.
Whatever savings there are in the sale, the customs fees would wipe out for UK buyers... that's the point I was trying to make.

In that case, they'd mark it as worthless. :))
The reshipper has no idea of the value of the box contents - it receives the shipment domestically, so there's no Customs declaration document or markings of any kind indicating the value of anything on it, other than the postage used to ship it to them from the retailer. I wouldn't be surprised if they have you fill out the Customs form, since they are filling the box on your behalf and have no real idea of what any of the items you're shipping are worth.

The Red Gnostics were gone by the time I tried to get them at 19 minutes into the sale.
Got my blues, though, which was also on my list. Heh.

Just popped over to CARC (http://shop.conjuringarts.org/store/pc/home.asp) it looks like only the Gnostic bricks have sold out so far. Can still get smoking gun deals on Owl Eyes and even Legends Egyptian Editions.
I made an order earlier today, but I'm still on the fence about those Silver Bikes. I want them, and I kinda don't care, and I kinda do care... Wrestling with myself about them. Anyone know if they're Ohio decks? I remember using them years ago, metallic inks were kind of the new thing, I've been over it for a while now though. For some reason I think I've seen the dark tuck silvers with KY seals on them too. If anyone knows, would be helpful in my decision. :)

If you are not gonna use the silver bikes for performance or resale and what not, why not just grab a couple instead of the whole brick? its only 95cents more per deck than the bricks.
It is little wonder why the Gnostics are snapped up so quickly. They make the greatest "savings". Even Legends are not selling them cheap. Owl Eyes are good value too. I already grabbed Egyptian Legends mixed brick before this sale came along...so i'll be skipping that. Thankfully mine was with free int shipping so it wasn't that bad.

Quite right, quite right. I have no plans on these making the rounds again on the poker table. So I have decided not to pick up a brick. I'll pick up a couple to a handful at another time when it's time to make another CARC order. No point in keeping my mind on the brick at all. :)
