My name is Cameron and I am from the state of Virginia in the United States. I have been a card magician, flourisher, and pasteboard tomfoolerer for nearly fifteen years - about 70% of my life, if I'm being honest.

I have frequented many magic and card-related forums for years but have only just recently become familiar with this site. I think when it comes down to it, the cards themselves are the source of my fascination, and so I'm sure I'll feel right at home here.

Tom Dawson's the owner of the board. He and his wife Judy are avid collectors, officers in the 52 Plus Joker North American Card Collector's Club ("52+J" for short) and are co-authors of the current edition of "the Hochman Encyclopedia of American Playing Cards." Tom's also an admin here, as is Lee Asher, a world-renown magician and occasional purveyor of new-condition Jerry's Nugget playing cards.

It sounds to me, based on your intro, Cameron, that you're going to have a lot in common with them! We love playing cards around here and we do have a board exclusively for magic and cardistry - we'd welcome some new discussions in there as well.

If you have any questions, ask. We want you to feel welcome here, like it's your online "home away from home".
