Let your potential seller know what nation he or she will be shipping to, as well an initial offering price for the decks. If you have a positive record as a trader, pointing that out doesn't hurt either.

It's meant to weed out the less-serious offers. Just put a nice, lowish dollar amount and indicate you're willing to negotiate. You never know if you're going to catch someone in the right mood to accept your offer.

Lowish: low but still within a serious range. A bargain price but not a ridiculous, pie-in-the-sky bargain price.

We actually have a topic for Trader Testimonials - a place where comments like yours are tallied and displayed so people know who the good and not-so-good traders are out there. Post it over there, too, please.
