Too bad, it seems like KS is down or something.
-
The artwork is nice :) Will star for now.

Looks like a deck from a new designer. Sadly, I don't pick up decks that promote alcohol consumption.

Good guy Don. :) So tobacco and alcohol are off your list.
I went with the one signed and one unsigned. I like the aces . The backs seems like a mismatch with the theme of the deck.

Mind me asking why?

I don't buy decks promoting either alcohol or tobacco.
Tobacco has killed enough of the people I know for me to have no interest in it.
Alcohol combined with my medications would kill me in a very unpleasant manner.

Nobody is asking you to burn the cards and drink them with water Don. :P

Really? We had no idea since you only mention it in every alcohol/tobacco related deck. ;)

I know. It's called taking a moral stance.

Andy - can you blame me? Those two products have cost many, many lives over the years. I actually like alcohol, when it's used responsibly. I, however, can't use it at all.
But forgive me - we're in Tangent Country now...
What did you guys think of the art? I'm actually surprised, because they're not exactly ugly cards, here. It's a near certainty that he's using a different artist for this, and whoever that artist is, they're not bad.
The issues at hand are Jeremiah DesLonde's/Alien Ink's ability to deliver and who's doing the printing. He frequently doesn't use USPC - those these days that's less of a kiss of death than it used to be - and I heard there were issues with delivery on his first deck and I don't know if they were resolved.
And of course, there's still the "mystery" of the third edition of that space design of his - the one he marketed and sold sight unseen to his backers...

I thought that didn't fund. As for Alien Ink's fulfillment, I never backed any of his other cards but if I remember right, the problem was with the printing. Since USPC is doing the printing, I think there wouldn't be as much a problem anymore.
I quite like the art. It seems playful. I don't know why the Queen of Spades has green/grey skin though.

With a goal of only $88, how could it fail?

That might be the record lowest deck project goal.
This will also be his first-ever USPC deck, assuming he hits the funding goal. He's aimed for and missed USPC funding several times in the past, which usually resulted in him switching the project to a different printer.

Hey Everyone!!
I wanted to stop by and say hello and say a few things.
First off, every deck, that has ever been pledged to Alien Ink projects has been delivered. I hit speedbumps on my first project, due to the printer I had used for the first deck, but all my other decks went very smoothly, and I think there is more merit in fighting through speedbumps and delivering than never experiencing them at all.
The Infinity deck, was delivered with a holographic tuckbox and to great kudos by backers. Please feel free to check the comments section of the project. If you didn't back it, you may never see it (vjose32 may do an unboxing but I haven't seen it up yet) but comments flooded in that people were happy to have spent $20 sight unseen for the deck.
The current project, the Wine Deck, is by Chiara Ferrari; the artist for the Flowers deck and I'm happy to hear that you like the direction we've taken this deck.
Now, I'd like to leave you with and idea that I can't get out of my head. I don't want to fill this thread with it, so I'll leave a link to my latest update for the Wine project.

Many of you have backed projects that have never, and will never deliver. I have proven that no matter what it takes I will get my backers their decks. I'd like to make it up to those of you that have been hurt by undelivered card projects; that info is in the update, and I'd love to hear your feedback.
Thanks so much guys, and I appreciate your support.

Let me say that I'm glad to see the approach you're taking toward this project. I recall I had backed on your first project, but pulled my backing after seeing a video you'd posted - you were supposed to be promoting the project but it seemed somewhat unprofessional, as if you weren't taking the project seriously. Clearly, after all the decks you've created, it's more plain to see that you are taking your work more seriously than originally thought.
Best of luck on your project.

Well this has been cancelled and is being relaunched with Prime as the printer and also plastic and mini decks and only a 10 day campaign. I am disappointed they have decided to use a different ks account to relaunch. I don't know, just seems a little dishonest and deceitful to hide your project history from backers.

He's done this before. I guess my statement about him taking the project seriously was premature...
