Title: Opening Round, Division 25-32: Dr. Leon vs. Vintage Plaid (U.S. Regulation)
Post by: Don Boyer on May 19, 2013, 01:08:40 AM
Two decks by world-class magicians.  Dr. Leon is more of a signature deck of the magician, while Vintage Plaid was D&D's nod to the old-style playing cards Grandpa keeps in his summer cabin in the woods.

Signature or Grandpa?  :))

Went for the one I own. Vintage plaid. Plus Dr Leon sounds like someone you go to when you think there's a problem with your genitals.

You wouldn't say that if you knew of him.  I hear he's a legend in Japan.  I saw him do a quirky stunt where he walked through a table, and I think it was also him that was at a cellphone company presentation where he was talking to himself on a video screen and pulled the phone out of the screen from his video image's hand...  I wish I was Dr. Leon and I don't care about your problem with your genitals...  :))

I ended up having to cast the tiebreaker for this one - and I went with Dr. Leon.  I like the Plaids, and I go blind when I look at the yellow Leons, but I prefer the design as it's more for a magician and that's how I lean.
