I don't really have much news on these. Looking into finding out more.
I was told that the red editions were held back for David Blaine's personal use, I'll try to confirm

If you look at the blue part of the box, you might notice that those blue doesn't change.
And I believe the red deck is highly possible.

Well they mentioned only 100 bottles were made. " Only 100 of these bottles were made"[/size], so they may have more decks. I would be guessing that there are many more decks.[/color]

The odds are mighty slim that these decks won't be on sale - I'd even bet they'll be on sale Black Friday, along with the AIP. He doesn't generally do the whole "buy X and get Y free" thing like E does, and I don't see many contests there either.

Yes, that does suck. No way I'm going to have the cash or the justification to spend that much. I promised myself that I wouldn't get a mega-expensive deck unless it was through a trade; I can't justify buying a deck of cards and another sealed forever in glass for $100 or more. Once it goes over $20, I start questioning how much I really need it.

I agree bro! I am not getting the AIP bottle for that price, I wish single decks were released but I am sure they will be released in the near future, not too worried about that. As for TheBlueCrown, the cheapest shipping price is $23.55 which deterred me from completing the order :/ Funds are tight and that is outrageous indeed! I see a place to enter a coupon code but I do not know any. Good luck to everyone on their purchase successes this Black Friday!! :D

Come to think of it if db really did do a 5000 run for his white lions, the same is for the other limited decks, why is the price for a white lion 15 bucks while a RA goes for 50 plus?

You dont know RA was rarer then the red white lions.

Considering that no White Lions ( Red ) have been sold by themselves, I would say that at this point they are much harder to obtain and therefore rarer than the Red Artifice. This could all change though if they decide to release some White Lions ( Red ) individually or in bricks.

Black Gold Seal New Fan Backs are under $10 a piece and they only made 5000. An object is only worth what someone's willing to pay for it. More people wanted to pay more $$ for Red Arts than White Lions. Gold Arcane is just as rare and they often trade in the $100 range. BG1E is also just as rare and they trade for twice or more what the GAs go for.
Short supply + high demand = big price after-market
Short supply + lukewarm demand by comparison = not so much

Something just occurred to me! Someone said 5000 White Lions were made, and ad for the AIP said the "Rainbow" decks were a shade of purple made while the press was transitioning from blue to red. These presses don't generally "transition" to anything, unless ol' Houdini Jr., Mr. Split Spades himself decided to take his 5000-deck print run, start with the blue ink, remove it partway through the run and swap in red ink! Meaning that the WHOLE collection of ALL colors of the White Lions would be 5000, unless the overall print run was higher.
Those Rainbow decks were made intentionally. USPC could have stopped the presses, cleaned out the ink wells and plates, then continued in the new color. But Blaine didn't want that, it would seem. Maybe not ANY customer could get them to stop (or switch colors mid-run), but this is Blaine we're talking about, not Alex from the block! (No offense, big guy!)
Either that or it was someone's silly accident that when switching colors, they didn't clean the plates or the wells or something and a short run got both colors blended until the problem was solved. USPC would probably have just destroyed those cards, but since the White Lions were supposedly supervised by him during the entire print run, maybe he spotted them and liked the shade, opting to keep the finished decks instead.

My guess is they used the same machine and plates for the red and the blue, and they kept printing an putting aside the purple decks and decided to package them.
It is like Dum-Dum Pops. Not many people k ow this, but the "Mystery" flavor is the lollipops that were made while the machine was transitioning between flavors, and they mark them as "Mystery" so they don't go to waste.

I would have purchased one of these but I really only want the decks. In other words I am scared they will release some kind of "1 red lions and signed purple combo" like he has for the blue right now. I could be wrong but I don't think we have seen the last of the "purple" decks no matter what the website says.

I think they will be shipped within a week or two.
You can check the quantity by typing in 100 when you add to cart, and it will change your number to the maximum amount that is left. In this case, 40 bottles remain.

I have purchased an AIP bottle before and it was around $100. Before they released this I truly was asking myself if I really wanna toss out $100 on this. Not gonna lie, when I saw the price of $174 my jaw dropped! I sat there looking at the computer screen for 10 min wondering what should I do. I wasnt sure if people were flocking to buy this or not and I didnt wanna miss out on something possibly really neat. So I broke down and bought one. Im kind of excited I did though because now they raised the price but they included a couple other gifts as well. Now im considering if I should buy another one. (sigh) Where does all my money keep going.........lol

That is a great deal alex. But what I don't really get is the entire purpose behind the bottles. I know they are there to inspire, but why for a few hundred. That's just like paying someone for inspiration. If I'd were to get one, I'd get one if they were around $50- $75, I might make an exception to Alex's sale. MIGHT! ;)

It all depends on how much money you are willing to spend KPopFever. But if you want just a bottle, Alex has a great deal going on it. But if you purchase it from Blaine's website you get a lot more than just a bottle. Didn't know if you knew that or not.

If you want just the bottle, combine it with the insane discounts in the sale and you can get it very cheap compared to anywhere else. The prices will only keep going up at this point.

Dude... He's pulling your leg... He bought the bottles to get the extra decks they came with.
They're down to only 32 remaining. This has got to be the longest I've ever seen a custom AIP bottle on the market for. The increasing price crap is beyond hubris, to me. Did it suddenly cost them more to manufacture them? Most AIPs are a hundred bucks. Granted, this comes with two rare decks, but still, the decks didn't cost that much extra to make, either. He might as well be selling them after-market at those prices.
They've gone from inhalant high to crystal meth snortin' high...

Well I put up the pricetag as $130 back when the bottles were still $175 (and I had no idea extra decks came with them). Since then the bottles have gone up by $50, and I kept the price the same and will continue to keep it the same for a while.

Those are awesome additions Alex! I would kill to add those two decks to my own collection, but the price tag just was too high for me. Who knows, maybe someday I'll magically get my hands on them, but for now I'm happy without them. I know that many people are going to be happy with the purchase of the bottle from your sale. The price you had was hard to beat (probably impossible actually).

You're completely right, but it's not a steal I can afford right now :( haha
I will probably look to trade or something later down the line, but right now it just won't work out sadly. I was lucky enough to snag some blue white lions from Alex's holiday sale, and those were a steal 8)

Hmm, not sure if my web browser is messed up here at work or what, but I went to David Blaines website to see how many AIP Bottles were left and everything is gone. I cant find any products on his website. No bottles, no playing cards, no posters, no nothing. I wonder whats up.

No, I'm seeing the same thing. Maybe they are working on an update for the shop or something? They wouldn't want any purchases during that time. That would be my best guess...
