Title: Hi everyone
Post by: Xcm-Store on December 12, 2012, 10:20:32 AM

Hi everyone.

I introduce myself, Axel, I'm french and I'm a collector of playing cards since a few years. I'm enthusiast of magic but also by the manipulating of the cards. In unemployement for some time I started the creation business. I opened a website based in France offering a wide choice of playing cards and accessories.

I follow the board for a while now but I never took the time to participate with you because I do not speak English well.

Thank you for your attention.

Nice of you to introduce yourself, Axel!

Don't worry about having imperfect English - some of the native English speakers around here are probably worse than you, anyway!  :))

We have a few French members here, including one that runs another cards/magic shop in France, cartesmagie.com/fr - check it out.  If you ever decide to create a coupon for the members, you let me know and I'll post it with the others on the New Deck Report.  I'm half-Quebecois, though I unfortunately never learned French myself.  My mother's family originates from Lac Claire, and they eventually "migrated" from there to Montreal and Quebec, then to New York City, the greater Fort Lauderdale area in Florida, the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina (near Winston-Salem), and have since mostly moved on to Tennessee.  They're pretty nomadic, if you haven't guessed!

Well, get settled in and enjoy your stay.  We're a pretty friendly bunch of people here, and having a sense of humor helps.  Ask questions when you need to, but also use the search feature since we now have over a year's worth of archived information about decks past, present and future.  I think you'll enjoy spending some time in the Magical Cardistry Bonanza board - it can use a fresh cardist to liven things up!
