I've been a 'lurker' for some time now but I though i'd finally join in the fun.
I'm based in Leeds in the UK and run a playing cards store online as well as enjoy a game of poker. I'm not really a magician or a manipulator of cards as such, I've just always been fascinated by cards since I can remember.
I like to think i'm fairly friendly, and i've always browsed these forums in the knowledge that there are some fairly clued up individuals on here, so it's always been very useful for me. :)

Hi and welcome! I am new here as well but love the overall feel and the people.
Enjoy your time here.

It's nice to meet a fellow cardaholic! I've been fascinated with cards since childhood; easy to do when your mom's father and brothers all played.
It will be nice to get the perspective of someone more into the playing aspect of playing cards. There aren't enough people commenting here on poker, though I know some of the guys (and girls) play.
Have fun, play nice and share your toys... :))

I don't share my toys i'm afraid ;)
Yes - I completely agree, it tends to be all about magic or cardistry and very little about poker. Although, a good portion of the cards I have bought never see a game.
Cheers for the welcome.

Welcome to the Discourse! - I hope you enjoy it here.

What is this, an interview? ::) There's no such thing as "the best", anyway.
Welcome, and don't be shy, most of us we don't bite. ;)

Hey brother, welcome aboard. Glad to see someone who works at the card table, gives us a little more diversity here. I'm a cardist and do a little bit of magic :)) You'll find that we've got a lot of card collectors here. It's great to have you, enjoy, don't be shy, yadda yadda ;) if you need help selecting a deck of cards, check out the deck reviews board. That board features some prime reviewers such as Evan and myself. Just a headers.
Have fun :))
