Title: What ever happened to the Magic Network?
Post by: CBJ on October 27, 2011, 03:17:44 PM
www.magicnetwork.com produced some of my favorite decks.. the Bicycle Raider decks.

Their site has been offline for over a year, and I was wondering who now controls the Raider deck?

Does anyone know the history of the company?  or who might have controlling stake in the Raider Deck design?

I was talking to Alan Paoletti about this. He was heavily involved with TMN. They basically went out of business and couldn't sustain themselves.

So did the Raider design default back to USPCC?

Depends who designed it I guess. If I don't make a v2 Vortex for whatever reason, USPCC doesn't have rights to reprint my cards. Even if it is under the Bicycle branding, I don't believe it is their copyright. In fact, you have to pay extra to brand with bicycle.
